spanther22 474
also surprising is how quiet the press have been regarding the homophobic chants by the sheepshaggers - i was under the impression that the press went out of their way to clamp down on perceived intolerances these days...... Blue Stars Bearette 1
£500 fine for Novos butt display Nacho Novo has been fined £500 by the Scottish Football Association for gestures made to Aberdeen fans in Rangers’ 1-0 defeat at Pittodrie in November, escaping serious punishment. The Spaniard, who was also pictured with his shorts lowered beneath his buttocks after the game, was initially subject to a police inquiry for his actions which was subsequently dropped. His fine is identical to those handed out to Celtic goalkeepers Artur Boruc and Lukasz Zaluska for similar incidents last year, the latter fined for an incident whilst he was with Dundee United. Novo wasn’t in attendance at the meeting at Hampden Park but he, together with his manager Walter Smith, will be relieved he escaped suspension as Rangers look to overcome their recent striking troubles. The 30-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season but is believed to be desperate to stay at Ibrox, despite advances from his home country from Celta.
