GersDude90 1
That was really an amazing win for McIlroy. He only just made the cut (+1) then shot -16 over the weekend! How is he thought of over in America? I'd imagine very highly now but how was he thought of before that win?
TexasGers 96
That was really an amazing win for McIlroy. He only just made the cut (+1) then shot -16 over the weekend! How is he thought of over in America? I'd imagine very highly now but how was he thought of before that win?I first heard of him when he played in the 09 Masters, and he started to get a decent amount of hype from the golf media after he played pretty well at the US Open and the PGA. Had he been American I'm sure he would have gotten even more exposure though. This season major outlets like ESPN and a lot of the big newspapers have done stories about him and his win will probably see that hype accelerate even more. TexasGers 96
Tiger and Phil are tied at -2 after the first round of TPC at Sawgrass. 4 shots behind the leaders I think.17 and 18 on that course are deadly!
Muff 245
Not getting to see much coverage of Tiger again. Currently -6 through 15.
