He played golf for a united Ireland team:-( doesn't sound to good

There is only 1 golf association in Ireland. Both of the players in the team were from Ulster. Graeme is from Portrush and is definately a prod but not sure if he is a bear. Rory McIlroy is from Holywood NI one of them but a Man U supporter. Both are good friends.

Back on topic. A fantastic achievement for Graeme. Well done. He now stays just down the road from me at Lake Nona in Orlando. They have quite a few Ulster assistants under head pro Gregor Jamison (A good Scotsman) I bet they all had a party last night.

Just found out that Graeme McDowell became the first European in 40 years to win the U.S. Open. Well done, Graeme.

I noticed this on ssn they use the term european ??? Why not BRITISH ??? As the last person to win it here was Tony Jacklin and funnily enough he was BRITISH as well ??? Fcuk european RULE BRITANNIA ! :sherlock:

Anybody heading up for it?

I was going to head up tomorrow but the weather is supposed to be shit, so I'm not going to bother. Looks like Kaymer, Els, Mickelson... will miss the cut.

Woooft, back out for 18 holes today.

Two bogeys in a row was my best :anguish:

I played in Troon fr the first time in about 2 years the other night. I have new irons and was hitting them well. On one hole i was on the green in two, with out really thinking about it, then my mate said,”This is for an eagle”

Three putted it!!

A three putt would be good for me.

The greens on public courses are shite!

It was over Portland that Royal Troon own and the greens were brilliant.

The greens on some of the top courses aren't too good either, but I know where you are coming from.

I played a course for £20, a parkland, and the greens were better than the ones on the Old Course, and that was four weeks ago.
