World Cup Preliminary Squads

Since everyone is talking England's preliminary squad i was looking at other preliminary squads and found some suprises couldn't find France's or Argentina's will look later.

Italy

Goalkeepers: Buffon, De Sanctis, Marchetti, Sirigu.

Defenders: Bocchetti, Bonucci, Cannavaro, Cassani, Chiellini, Criscito, Grosso, Maggio, Zambrotta.

Midfielders: Camoranesi, Candreva, Cossu, Gattuso, Marchisio, Montolivo, Palombo, Pepe, Pirlo, De Rossi.

Strikers: Borriello, Di Natale, Gilardino, Iaquinta, Pazzini, Quagliarella, Rossi.

:anguish: no Toni, Cassano and practically the Juve defence had high hopes for them but if this is things to come Italy have no chance

As what I can see there are a lot of dodgy looking squads.

I can see a outsider winning it this year.

i can see USA And ivory coast being big dark horses this year.

I know it sounds mad, but I fancy Honduras do quite well.

They have a good spine.

I can't see Ivory Coast doing anything, not sure about the USA.

you never know till it starts, alot of things to take in this time i think e.g altitude and stuff. would like to see the USA do well.

Serbia for the World Cup

Thats a good shout.

They are starting to recover from the break up of Serbia and Montenegro. They used to do great in World cups that I can remember.

The only downside is Vladimir Stojkovic in goal.
