How come someone posted on here a couple of weeks back that he had a broken foot and it is only coming to light now? He has been wearing that boot on his foot for a couple of weeks and no statement from Rangers with regard to this or any other media outlet.

I wouldnt trust a word that rhag prints when it comes to reporting on us. Given that they have finally admitted to lying about phone hacking, I hope all of the ones who had their phones hacked sue the arse off that paper and hopefully lead it to shutting down. I live in hope.

Now I'm no doctor but how can a bruise affect an xray being done?

Exactly, an X-ray shows the White bones against a black backdrop

It doesn't show swelling or bruising

NOTW talk shite as has been proven on many occasions

I'll wait for rangers to confirm or deny thanku very much

There's a good chance that Weiss could play well before the official site comments either way! :D

Terrible news because he is one of the few players we have who can create something on his own.

We had an extremely talented player on our hands, and he showed it in flashes, but we have wasted him by constantly playing him LW.

Hopefully we can get him back again and play him on the right.

It can't, the x-ray passes through tissues and is reflected back off of bones...

Your right it does, but bruising of the bone would show up much the same as a break, usually the bone is sort of milky white but bruising turns it grey and if there was a break it too shows up as a black/grey line.

Bruising of the bone can take weeks to heal so tbh its not as bad as people are making out.

No, I think it can.

You often hear about ankle twists being so bruised/swollen that they can't tell if it's broken or not.

A specialist tends to mean long term, no? <cr>

A specialist will have a much better idea regarding a time frame, it may be longer, he may be back before the end of the season WE just don't know and can only guess and I'm a half full kind of guy (tu)
