Boab 73
So, answers on a postcard or on here..."I loved playing for Rangers. The whole package was brilliant. When I went back in 2008 I wanted to make sure we were successful and I won two titles there and Cups. It was great, the most enjoyable period of my career."They created a great place for players to work. I loved every day at Murray Park. Goodness, when I think about it, why did I ever leave?"I say 'Money'. Any other ideas?
broxibear87 129
Probably because Martin Bain offered you a generous paycut when you were our top goalscorer

KingKirk 25,804
Because you chased the paycheque. He never chased it he had no option but to move when Bain offered our top goalscorer a pay cut. Kenny IMO would of signed for the same money.
MartinGers93 388
Because you chased the paycheque. Michael Mols took a massive wage cut to stay at Rangers when he was probably the best striker we had at the time being 03/04 season. No excuses from Kenny Miller other than he was being a greedy cunt.
Creampuff 22,628
Some fans really don't understand that we need to balance the books Miller wanted a 3 year deal on his current wage, would he be worth that wage in 2 years? Probably not.If we'd given him that wage then in 2 years we'd be asking why.

Edmiston Drive 3,846
Probably because Martin Bain offered you a generous paycut when you were our top goalscorer You have to understand that costs had to be made, after Bain took his salary hike
Ben10 2,294
If miller stayed we would have raped the title last season and TLB would likely be gone, so in a sense it worked out for all concerned.

Edmiston Drive 3,846
After the Dalglish thread yesterday, you weren't from Milton too were you?No born and brought up Kinning Park and Ibrox. If your dad was round about Kennys age , then he must have been a Possil with Jim Watt the boxer. He never went to Kennys secondary.
simplythebest 11,453
When you're in the form of your life anyone isn't going to be happy at being offered a wage cut, Miller is not a Rangers fan and never claimed to be so I didn't blame him in the slightest. He may even have changed his mind by the end of the season if we hadn't sold him.
Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
Maybe it was the loyal support from some 'fans' for our top goalscorer and best player - i'd say though that the offer of a big cut in wages didn't help. Aye, what a money-grabbing bugger...
wearethemighty 186
Never wanted him to leave and would've loved to see him back in the summer but it never happened and there's no chance it will happen again. Thanks for the memories KM but your time at Rangers is over.
