A last good paycheck would have come in it too.

I never blamed him for leaving, he's not a Bear, never has been and quite clearly just wanted to earn as much money as possible, which is perfectly understandable.

thers more to life than money.

The most important thing in life is family. If you were the top performer at your job in the dying years of your working life and had the option to take 8k a week less or go elsewhere and triple your wages you would take the paycut? He has a family to support and i completly stand by his decision. He had absolutley no choice.

This whole "he has a family to support" argument - surely he can sustain a living for his family even if he did take a huge paycut..

But I don't blame him for going. Just think the family thing is a shite argument.
