Jack The Flipper 5,936
34 year old?
PaulRFC1 115
Would defo take him.Age is irrelevant for him because of his style of play.Surely he is on big wages tho?
King Jela 21,686
I like him. I doubt he'd need a second invitation to go through that lego-licking mongo Brown.
PaulRFC1 115
Fuck sake. Was so close to get that age comment in there first.
King Jela 21,686
34 year old? Davie Weir came to us at an older age and ended up leaving as one of our greatest ever captains.

The Godfather 75,725
I'd also add Caniggia was a similair age when he arrived at Rangers. Not comparing the two as Caniggia was a great player but age is not everything.
Jack The Flipper 5,936
Davie Weir came to us at an older age and ended up leaving as one of our greatest ever captains. People shouldn't just disregard a player purely because of age.Yeah that's true, but it's a good general indicator. Big davie was an exception to the rule - of which there doesn't seem to be that many - relatively speaking. We already have healy, I would much rather we tried to stay on the right side of 30 tbh. TheBloubellsAreBlouie 209
He'd score for fun up here........

Healy hadn't played first team football in at least 3 years when we'd signed him.
ready1873 3,952
I'd have loved him 5 years ago......
WilliamMunny 3,500
If we can get a younger pacey player beside him and Celik and Aluko supporting then I think it would work. How much though?
OLE SUPER WILBERT 2,475
Not the player he used to be.Could probably still do a job in the SPL though.
FirrhillLoyal 318
Would still do very well up here. How much? Would he come?

Davies would win most knockdowns IMO and he would link up well with Aluko, Davis etc. He would be an excellent support striker to have or even a lone striker if we had say Aluko and Naismith supporting him. MrT 173
No way this will ever happen if anything he would go to the championship! He would score 25+ goals a season up here and demand around 30k a week!!
broxibear87 129
Would do well up here, wages could be a problem though. If were going to pay a player top wages it should be a player that can make us money in the future.
Ryan_1 1,136
Good player, but isn't half the player of last season. Not the direction we should be heading in.Baffles me to why we haven't made an enquiry for the transfer listed Nicky Maynard?! the brown brogue 1,961
Going by that story I'd imagine Sunderland would be his likely destination, he's exactly O Neils type of player.
benbmyers 16
Fantastic player that I would like to see playing in a Rangers strip. Sadly I don't see it happening.
Gaz52 11,837
I'd rather Mark Davies - Great wee player
4MenHadADream 122
I would definitely take him, still a good player
NorthernLights 2,529
I'd definitely take him, but I'd imagine he was on a fair amount of money. Still, seeing the likes of Kevin Kyle score up here makes you wonder how many a remotely decent target man could score.
gers31 246
Well if we cant sign our trialists and now we are in for Davies must mean jelavic is defo for the off
