Craig Whyte - 31st January.

"I can categorically assure supporters that when I launched a takeover bid for the club it was funded entirely from one of my companies and that was demonstrated clearly to the satisfaction of the previous owner, Lloyds Banking Group and professional advisers."

:wanker:

What a fly cunt.

Mugged, near enough, everybody off.

Just had a thought.

Whyte gets £20m odd from Ticketus.

He pays £18m to LBG.

Forget the change for the moment.

If Rangers go bust Whyte gets £20m back as preferred creditor, Rangers get the debt.

Seems like Rangers are paying the same debt twice over, and Whyte gains £20m out of it.

Am I missing something here ?

The problem is £18M of future season ticket revenue has gone. How is the club going to run its daily affairs with a fraction of its revenue?

Shuggy

Supposedly Whyte has underwritten the Ticketus deal personally...

If true, ticketus will go abounding after him as a result of administration leaving us to still have our season ticket resources

What he's done is actually very fucking clever and I agree with you, it's his lies that infuriate me. Not what he actually did.

The thing is if this was his plan all along he would have to lie. If he came out with the truth (whatever the hell that is :anguish: ) at the start he would most likely be up on a fraud charge just now.

So he paid off the debt with the ticketus money which is something he has consistently denied.

More grim news :anguish:

He is a thoroughly dishonest little man and I think for Murray to have any credibilty left he has to come out now and tell us why he sold our club to this character
