SFA hearing

Duff and Phelps, joint administrators of Rangers Football Club, issued the following statement on the outcome of the SFA disciplinary hearing.

Paul Clark, joint administrator, said: "All of us working on behalf of the Club are utterly shocked and dismayed by the draconian sanctions imposed on Rangers in respect of these charges.

"It appears that on one hand the disciplinary panel accepted our central argument that responsibility for bringing the Club into disrepute lay with the actions of one individual - Craig Whyte - as is evident from the unprecedented punishment meted out to him.

"During this hearing the Club produced compelling evidence from a number of sources that following his takeover, Craig Whyte ran the Club in a thoroughly unaccountable manner, rather than adhering to a long-established and proper form of corporate governance.

"The thrust of the charges against the Club focused on non-payment of payroll taxes and evidence was produced that all such decisions in this area were taken by Craig Whyte during his tenure.

"Given this evidence, it is difficult to comprehend that the disciplinary panel has seen fit to effectively punish the Club even more heavily than Mr Whyte. As everyone knows, it has already been decided he is not a fit and proper person to run a football club and any further punishment on him will have little or no impact.

"However, for Rangers, a ban on signing players will seriously undermine the Club's efforts to rebuild after being rendered insolvent.

"Furthermore, we do not know how bidders for the Club will react to these sanctions and what affect they will have on their proposals.

"The Club has asked for full written reasons for these decisions and intend to appeal against the findings."

I hope Allan McGregor, Steven Whittaker, Steven Naismith, Lee Wallace & Rhys McCabe all write letters to the SFA tomorrow informing them that they no longer wish to be considered for international selection.

That also goes for any of our youngsters who are representing Scotland at any other level too.

Surely this must be the last straw for those who were against any boycotts.

And for those who are tsaying it's ok we have some decent youth players you are severely missing the point here. We are being shafted left right and centre.

Our boycotts will force administration on another club at least. The SFA have just set a precedent that a smaller club will just not come back from.

Wanks :wanker:

Boycott Hampden. Boycott every thing to do with the SFA that might give them money from The Rangers support.

• Scotland games.

• Scottish Cup games

Rangers supporters can do a lot of damage financially to the SFA. The time is now.

Murray and Whyte can burn in hell for this.

1. No Rangers players should be made available for the national team.

2. Rangers FC should decline their invitation to enter a team in the Scottish Cup.

3. Rangers support really, really NEED to start strangling other clubs with ORGANISED boycotts of their grounds.

Enough is enough from these scummy bastards.

If ever a song was so true. No one likes us........................

Time for action has come.

Thats just the SFA admitting they're taigs. We've known it for the last 2 years and they've shown their true face.

Everything we do now must be with the aim of destroying the current organisation. All monies for away games must be paid towards Rangers and Rangers only and any assistance either at club or supporter levels must be withdrawn

First thoughts on this news. Aluko? Will we lose him now? Absolutely gutted with this news. The authorities this season made sure they gave Celtic every advantage over us and yet again, for next year, they are getting in early to handicap us. Sickening news and a complete and utter pathetic punishment from an organisation who are biased, corrupt, cowardly and hate filled. Let no one ever tell you Scottish football is fair, it is run for the benefit of one club and one club only. "No one likes us" has never been more appropriate, this time though, we need to care, we need to fight back. The bias has never been more obvious. I also agree, all our Scottish players must withdraw their availability for the national team immediately.

If anyone believes the SFA and other certain Clubs within the SPL dont hate us they better think again.

I hope your eyes are opening to this corrupt and unacountable biggoted organisation who are hell bent on destroying us .

I hope they are Ficking Happy at tje destruction tjey are causing to Scottish Football.

I will never watch a Scotland Game again.

And if us Rangers Fans had any fucking sense they would do the same.

They are destroying the Game.

All because they let a dodgy dealing Spiv take over our Club.

And they knew he was Dodgy .

Bunch of Bastards .

We will not forget this if we survive this no, thanks to them.

This is exactly the kind of thread i've somewhat ridiculed in the past but considering what's happened tonight, if there is an opportunity to join the English Leagues and work our way up i'd take it.

I still seriously doubt even the Conference would want us but i'd be delighted to get out of this game for good.

A fucking shambles!

If our players exercise their right to leave we could be staring a relegation battle in the face! These bastards don't care about member clubs, Dundee FC were hammered by these cunts when if it was a normal 10pt deduction they would have been promoted and gained money which could have healed their financial troubles!

An absolute mess, look at the way the English leauges help member clubs then this shower
