Doesn't make sense to me at this level. Its what i'd expect of San marino

Mind you, we've not seen England yet so I'd better shut up

Jose Mourinho, by sheer force of personality and charisma, has given a veneer of acceptability to unadventurous football that would previously have offended purists and would only have been tolerated in, as you say, the San Marinos of this world.

It's a damn shame.

I understand it to an extent if your Denmark or something but Portugal have guys like Nani, Ronaldo and Merieles who are very good in the final third and have shown they can hurt teams.

They can't play like the first half again unless they want to go home.

Like I say though, I fear England will adopt similar tactics so I'm probably best shutting my hole. :lol:

Neuer has his weaknesses but he seems to grow to fill half the fucking pitch in one on one situations. That's a hell of a psychological edge to have.

Best ive seen since Schmiechal on one on ones.
