Creampuff 22,628
Over the past year we've been used, abused, kicked, spat on and chastised in the name of "Sporting Integrity" or "Because We Don't Like You" or "Boredum".This is all a result as the failing of Craig Whyte to keep us from administration and the subsequent liquidation of the oldco that owned Rangers Football Club. When you really consider it, it's clear that there was a plan in place, and that there was only one man who ruined it. Everything that's happened was due to the actions of one man, and that one man alone must be blamed for the administration and liquidation of the old company and the subsequent demotion of Rangers Football Club.Steven Whittaker. The plan was simple, Whyte buys the club from Murray, runs us on the Champions League money, and sells us for a profit next season with us free of the burden of Lloyds Banking Group, and better off than we were under Minty.Everything was going okay, then this happened. What a selfish, moronic, infuriatingly daft thing to do.Whittaker ruined the plan by costing us our place in the Champions League. This led to Whyte running us using tax money. Had we qualified, he'd have run us from the Champions League money - no winding up order for that!So thanks, Whittaker, your many fuck ups have come back to haunt this club. WillWard 6
Absolute pish. We as a club should never have been in the position where we required Champions League money to survive. David Murray has to carry almost all of the responsibility for putting us in that position then compounding his mistakes by selling us to Whyte. MosesMcNeil 1,664
So thanks, Whittaker, your many fuck ups have come back to haunt this club.Much as Whittaker is a prick - blaming him for the actions of Murray & Whyte is ludicrous.if they were all to be hung in public, Whittaker would only be a sideshow before the headline acts. AGM_72 3,734
To be fair, he probably prevented Whyte from creeping away with even more funds than he did pilfer. We'd be free of Lloyds but only at our expense via the ticketus deal.

theweebluenose 4,335
Never liked the cunt when he played for us, always thought he was an absolute bombscare at the back and lived off the Sporting Lisbon goal. Utter stupidity that night and although the OP post may be slightly over the top chances are things could be slightly different if we had went through. SwallowsHisOwnSpunk 7,915
Who was to blame for us being absolutely shocking in the home leg?McCoist his team selections were dire just to negative in both legs if we had set out to attack them instead of setting up with 10 men behind the ball against that diddy team we would have won.Would anyone suggest McCoist is at fault for our current position? the answer is no so you can't blame Whittaker for it either abut Whittaker is still a massive cunt and a really shite footballer to boot and I hope he breaks both his legs.
