ScottBF2 3,540
what was the whistle actually blown for? After seeing the replay I thought the ref blew for Alexander being blocked off.Soft freekick if that was the case, but that's life. Que Sera, Sera.
TheFarmer 260
They should have had a straight red in the first half as well. Ref wasnt brilliant but we shouldnt be expecting much from the ref at this level, we should have enough quality from our £7m wage bill to finish these games off early. bufforbero 128
Bear in mind also that Berwick should have played virtually most of the match with 10 men.I fear for some of our players this season. I can see some nasty injuries coming.

DEXYSC 23
The tackle on Black, did you hear that dick gordon smith at half time, he said it should have been a red card but if the ref sent him off it would have wasted the game! WTF! Total Elmur!
HuistraHairDo 12,507
Alexander had it covered - anyone who can't see that is just trying to find things to hate on.I'll take the moaning about everything else today - but this moment is nothing worth discussing.[/quotenot worth discussing yet you set a thread up on it?? TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
People who refer to it as a disallowed goal have no understanding of cause and effect and the laws of the universe. Alexander stopped at the whistle.

Alexander stopped at the whistle.Exactly, like I said - it was a player knocking a ball into the net after the whistle had blown and the players had stopped. Can't believe someone compared it to Beasley's disallowed goal at Pittodrie
Edmiston Drive 3,846
The whistle blew while the ball was in the air, long before the header came in.If you actually watch the clip you'll see quite clearly Alexander pull out of his attempt to save it in acknowledgement of the ref having blew his whistle. Not that many on here like silly facts getting in the way of a smashing wee moan.Spot on...........said that watching the game.................whistle went long before the guy headed the ball. Sket 13,610
We were lucky to come away with a point today, their 'goal' should have stood. Should also have been a red card for the Berwick lad.Another thing, this humping the ball up the park is dreadful to watch. Still,we'll come good once we have a run of games under our belt. Looks like he totaly misjudged the flight of the ball. Doesnt matter anyway. It wasn't given. We have been on the recieving end of plenty ref mistakes they happen.
