Is this another one of our infamous transfer sagas?

Hearts - "We'll accept no less than £1m for both players."

Rangers - "Here's £800k then."

Hearts - "Sorry, we'll accept no less than £1m for both players."

Rangers - "Here's £850k then."

:anguish:

It's better than our previous transfer dealings with Hearts over Lee Wallace:

Hearts - We want £800k

Rangers - Here's £350k

Hearts - Sorry, we want £800k for him

Rangers - Here's £1.5million

It is better than the Advocaat era...

Murray phones Chelsea: Right we are interested in Flo...

Chelsea representative (CR): Ok we are willing to sell

Murray: I am not taking no for an answer

CR: Right we are ready to sell

Murray: Now listen I am not putting this phone down till I get my man

CR: Right we just want a decent fee - roughly round £3million...

Murray: I'll give you £12m!! *slams phone down all chuffed*

From what I've been told by some who knows temps is that he won't be going to rangers. His dad doesn't want him signing for an of club. He would prefer a move down south. :-(

I thought Templeton supports Celtic just to piss his Dad off?

If that's the case, I highly doubt he would listen to what he has to say...

The Goodwillie saga has to be one of the worst in recent memory.

Hopefully there is no comparison now, i.e. If Hearts accepted the bid then we would actually be able to sign the players, got the impression CW was going through the motions to appease the fans.

Although surprised he never offered the asking price as I'm sure at that time he knew fine well there was no chance of it being paid anyway.

I call it realism, but it's also a mechanism to make sure I'm never left disappointed.

I get that, but Scott Burns, who has been right with every transfer so far, said we were only 100k apart with the valuation. I've been disappointed enough times by our transfer dealings but I've got a good feeling about this one.

That and the Goodwillie saga were probably the worst ever negotiations in the history of football :anguish:
