BEARGER 339
First of all I'm not the biggest fan of him as pundit, find him to be boring. But must say he gave the fans a lot of credit before and after the game, saying we could look back in 10 years and say we were there when we fought or way back to the top. dougied123 222
Yes, I too heard this and was surprised to hear him mention it. Fair play to him, but it still doesnt make him a good commentator!

Captain Hilts 12,819
he was alright. the commentator Liam MacLeod was ok too, apart from his "paying high wages, rightly or wrongly" comment
iain1712 336
an honest man with no axe to grind against us and As a pundit I always find him honest and impartial, good technical insights into the game as well. He gets a thumbs up from me.
Redwhiteandblue 3,330
He seems to put his loyalties aside when he speaks on TV. He is probably the most professional pundit in Scotland. Which just shows how poor our pundits really are.

bombaybadboy08 15,660
that's true. i lost count at the amount of times he said 'third division Rangers' aswellThen when Motherwell wouldn't put the ball out of play when Shiels was down he was getting his knickers in a twist continually whining that Motherwell had no obligation to put the ball out of play and it was down to the referee.I thought he was going to burst into tears at that point. crabbit bear 139
Nevin is pretty fair I think, he done well last night, as someone said he will probably not get asked back again. I seen him say he was doing a cup final at Hampden with septic and he moaned about their fans singing about joining the oy ar ay. He said that he didnt see any need for this at a football match, and he couldnt believe the amount of abuse he received from septics officials and their fans. They were wanting him to lose his job and alsorts, he said he felt really intimidated, he will probably get more abuse now for daring to say something positive about Rangers. :mccoist:
