Perry & Faure Passed Fit

HEAD-CLASH victims Ross Perry and Seb Faure were both back in training at Auchenhowie today and will be fit to face Clyde on Sunday.

There was a worrying moment in the second half of last Saturday’s 2-0 win over Queen’s Park when the two defenders collided.

Perry and Faure went for the same ball and the young Scot’s head connected with the back of the young Frenchman’s head.

Perry needed three stitches and both needed to be checked out for concussion. However, manager Ally McCoist has revealed that there is no lasting problem.

He said: “They are both fine. Ross got a few stitches in his head after hitting the back of Sebastien’s head.

“They were both a little concussed at the time but both are OK and both were back in training today which is good.”

Faure also had his right hand strapped up during the game after one of the Queen’s players stood on it but that too is not serious.

Filippo Maniero played a similar number of minutes in a Rangers jersey as young Faure, yet he's already deemed not good enough by most. Shocking.

Maniero didn't play a single game for the Rangers 1st team.

As for Faure and Perry....even at this level they do not look anything special.

I don't know what to say about our defence. I don't want to say what I really think, as it would serve no purpose.

Have they even got a common language they can communicate in?

7 clean sheets in 15 games isn't great but they're a brand new Rangers defence. Some teams bring in 2 or 3 new players into a squad and need time to adjust. We had to bring in a whole new squad. Patience.

It's hard to compare situations though.

The players we had/brought in are all professional footballers playing against people with 9-5 jobs who train twice a week.
