simplythebest 11,453
Lost 2-1 to Barnsley tonight, now in the relegation zone and haven't won for about 10 games now, Dean Saunders yet to get a win as their manager. Second successive relegation looks pretty likely currently.I know they were punching above their weight in the Premier League somewhat but that is still quite a comedown. RD.1872 890
Never really replaced Fletcher and I'm sure some of the £14m they got went towards that horrible new teir.
MasterD 7,446
They should have kept McCarthy as manager.
the goal machine 7,824
Sold Jarvis for a lot of money as well, a bit of a shambles!
Captain Hilts 12,819
They should have kept McCarthy as manager.agreed. that was a silly knee-jerk reaction by the board after they were pumped 5-1 off West Brom. iirc they asked Walter Smith to take over but he knocked them back

Christchurch Rangers 1,229
seems a common trend; clubs get relegated from the premiership and then go into free fall in the lower leaguespoor old wolvesi remember when they went all the way down to the 4th division in the 80's and nearly went bustwolves fans deserve some success trivia piece: new zealands first ever pro footballer was Ricki Herbert at Wolves in 1984
Creampuff 22,628
Shouldn't have sacked McCarthy.

better than all the rest 153
The works head office is in Wolverhampton the fans in the office are gutted about what's going on they have never rated Saunders.and i have to say most the football minded staff their all love the Rangers always asking what's happening and looking at Photo's i send down, a couple of the office girls had some photo's of our flag day last year as their screen savers. BlueSuedeSambas 54,498
Sacking McCarthy was a stupid move, but a lot of their players need to have a long, hard look at themselves.
Albertz123 598
Didn't they just built a bigger stand?

Christchurch Rangers 1,229
Didn't they just built a bigger stand?maybe they are gonna knock down the one they built in the 80's it was pretty flash for it's time, executive boxes and all thati think they better worry about the goings on with the playing side of things before worrying about the stadium
Christchurch Rangers 1,229
Some view from herethats a pretty good view if you are only interested in goalmouth action perfect in factwell for half of the game anyhow
aqualung 126
I've always hated Wolves, I grew up in Worcester where they are the "local" team and they have the most deluded fans I've ever met. They make geordies look almost normal.

Turnberry18 3,204
They should have kept McCarthy as manager.Ah, but that is too simple, and football clubs rarely like being that simple.
