Columbo 588
And despite speculation i'm not sure any of us could have seen what would occur the following season, Whyte taking over at the tail end actually raised spirits considerably.Things appeared brilliant back on the 15th May 2011. Three league titles in a row, A core of youngish good players e.g. McGregor, Davis, Naismith & Jelavic, a new rich owner and a legend taking the managerial hotspot.Couldn't have foreseen what would happen to be honest
TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
There was a fair chunk of this board who wanted Walter out mid way through that season.

And during the 2008-2009 season a lot of fans wanted him out at points. There's absolutely no perspective or rationality with a significant number of people on this forum at times
GOAT 30,449
This video makes me so fucken sad, yet so happy at the same time. We need to be back in the SPL and putting these mhobs back in their place.
Senna 735
There was a fair chunk of this board who wanted Walter out mid way through that season. We did go through a really shit patch, and there were a couple of results that needed explaining, but I wouldn't judge the overall mood of the support just by the BD here. Clemdog 39,389
Miss that type of atmosphere big time. Venomous ending in sheer delight when we get it up them. I remember coming home from that game and thinking Weiss was the best player I'd seen. Bougherra's tackle that game

Columbo 588
It felt like an ideal time to be a Rangers fans, best since nine in a row probably. That & the Summer of 2000. Advocaat had won 5 trophies out of a possible six. We'd finished 20+ points clear of Celtic, we had made good progress in Europe and recorded some great results. Then Martin O'Neil came and sadly put an end to the party
JamieD 18,992
I had forgotten that Bougherra tackle on the line. Incredible.

WeDontDoWalkingAway1872 303
Walter Smith what a man! Hate Lafferty but still don't see why he ever got a red for that. Miss going to the games at ER.
