OlegKuznetsov 10,816
Unbelievable or totally predictable? They keep claiming, and quoting tweeters and emailers, that Longmuir has changed hist tune to please Rangers.Spiers and the host continue to suggest an Ibrox motivated change along with several members of the public, which must now be explained publicly by Longmuir. Iron Curtain 60
Longmuir had a good chance to put his foot on the throat of Roncaster and Degan - he has failed miserably imo.
scarkev 3,540
Unbelievable or totally predictable? They keep claiming, and quoting tweeters and emailers, that Longmuir has changed hist tune to please Rangers.Spiers and the host continue to suggest an Ibrox motivated change along with several members of the public, which must now be explained publicly by Longmuir.Longmuir is trying to stand firm against blackmail and threats from Doncaster and the SPL 2 crew and the BBC cronies are trying to further destabilise his position whilst making reconstruction about us benefiting when ultimately we are the only club who would suffer should it go through...I would love to see an impartial journalist come out speak about this in a balanced fashion.... there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
If you don't dance to Liewell's tune you're pro-Rangers.I'm surprised it has taken them this long to start throwing these accusations his way.IMO he is just trying to look out for the best interests of ALL the clubs in the SFL not just the SFL1 clubs. gogzy 31,195
Listening to it on bbc scotland. Total carve up. Longmuir is being lined up as the scapegoat for reconstruction failing.
mason boyne 40
This will make him more determined to stay the course and make sure his members vote no, if they do the sphellllllll may go bust meaning sfl the only organisation in scottish football?. Longmuir is being lined up as the scapegoat for reconstruction failing.Have to agree a carve up on the Beeb (what a surprise) however he has left himself exposed by refusing to speak out. The end result will be the 'fans' getting their way just as they did last year and the probable death of Scottish football.

Guest Andypendek
No question about it. Some east coast fuckwit is screaming 'we must know what Longmuir said to change these clubs' minds, eh'.Never occurs to him they might have had a look at the proposals, and decided they didn't fancy them. 'Tis all Longmuir, operating of course on behalf of evil genius Charles Green, who is to blame. Then they wonder why he disny talk to them! shankillblue1 349
Maybe time for a strategic response by US against the BBC. A major demo before the next home game against Clyde re. the HMRC leaks. Alert the media, incl. STV. Maybe even a wee petition handed in to their reception for the cameras, as license payers wanting answers to some serious questions. It will be the 13th, so unlucky for them! These bheasts need some payback! 'Tis all Longmuir, operating of course on behalf of evil genius Charles Green, who is to blame. Then they wonder why he disny talk to them! One reason given for this line of questioning was the Colts team suggestion.Notably, this line of argument overlooks the fact that a certain other club, currently with members in all sorts of SPL positions, was also supposedly getting a Colt team. elephants stoned 2,994
Heard a wee story last week that Doncaster is quitting after the vote. Green is to take over as chairman at Ibrox and Langmuir will be ceoId rather Longmuir stays at the SFL, there needs to be one decent man in the offices at Hampden or liewell will just get another lacky in to run the SFL. allgers 735
Longmuir has to look after the interest of the SFL, this includes Rangers, who last time I checked were part of Scottish Football cosgrove, as these don't follow the interest of Liewell that would explain the smear campaign. Wonder if St Mirren Park was neutral ground, would want to be a fly on the wall at that meeting, I'm sure we will get a full and unedited "version" shortly.
