...Exactly mate..with the nappy rippers crowds falling year on year(for at least the next two) while we are not in the top division they will be hunting for ways to entice the boaby sookers in...drink at the game would be one way and cheaper season tickets would be another but if they dont get into the CL they will be looking at a big loss imo...dont know what they pay out in wages but rest asured if their shit hole is only half full next season their red lights will be flashing....and thats what this is all about..imo..

yup 100% (tu)

bang on.

Additionally, imo Scotlands relationship with the drink does not make this an enticing prospect. Yes it would be great - couple of beers, watching the game and chilling, but we have too many who would use this as an excuse to get bladdered

Cheers mate, too many people are caught up with the drink matter. Can't see the words for the trees.

Totally bad idea. If folk get tanked up before the game they shouldn't get into the ground. The cost of Policing the games would sky rocket. It sounds like PL is putting this up as an idea to try and promote his idea of reconstruction as the wee clubs could make a packet of the bar and then blame the away fans for any trouble, guess who the away fans would be? This would get ditched as soon as PL got reconstruction through, promise them everything and any thing to get their votes and then backtrack.

I vote we bring back standing terracing and drinking at matches.

That iconic image of rivers of urine hurtling down the terraces and the anticipation of getting home to get a waft of the bevvy and pish stains as you take of your trainers lives long in the memory.
