Thanks for your time here Neil if you are leaving. He comes across like a decent guy and he has been a solid player and good servant but we have to be realistic moving forward and value for money is paramount whilst we remain in the lower leagues!Best of luck to him for the future though! elephants stoned 2,994
A huge thank you to Neil and goes down in history as our only ever present player season 12/
Zappa6995 3,785
Can't help but feel a wee bit sorry for him.I hope something can be worked out on realistic wages.A good servant to the club IMO.

I don't think we could justify more than £5k though, and that is pushing it.
Glowingmonkeyhead 62
Has been a good player for us but I dont feel for him65% wage reduction from his current salary is still £4.5k a week!!!!!!To much for the 2nd Div in my opinion especially as he has no resale value
Blumhoilann 6,715
Big thanks Neil for your service......On the other hand,35% of his original contract could still be a good wage and he's getting no younger.
MasterD 7,457
Wish him the best when he goes. Good to see we haven't budged on the offer though, a lot of people thought with Green gone we'd have gave him what he wanted to get him to stay.

BlearyEyedBear 4,148
Thank you for Florence. He stayed loyal when we needed him the most, whilst others walked. I wish him all the best if he does decide to leave.
pcbear 10,932
He was "safehands" today, bank bursting salaries are not required for where we are, Partick and QOtS prove that by winning the leagues above, some good housekeeping reqd, theres plenty decent players out there on a fraction of what we pay, good luck anyway. MKGER 138
Love that guy, he is the apitamy of what a rangers player should be... Loyal, hard working, gentlemanly and above all a decent footballer ! More of his kind and we'll be alright!
BearAbroad 42
Good keeper, has been loyal to the club and a good servant. But letting him go, given he has been reported to be on ~10K/week in lower divisions is the right decision. We need to ensure we maintain a sustainable expenditure on wages until our revenue stream can justify paying this much on players. Is certainly not required for SFL-2. RFC Eagle 4,888
Thanks for the performances, Neil. But those wage demands are ridiculous.I don't think its wages its the length of the deal, he wants two years not one. There are people happy to pay Cammy Bell £8k so I think £4.5k for Neil is well deserved as is a two year deal.
TAFKA 545
Heard that QOS skooshed SFL2 on a TOTAL budget of 350k.Alexander's £5k a week equates to 260k on one player!!
