FernandoR20 2,133
I think rooney's best years are behind him nowTbh he's always been overrated. There was a point when he was one of the best strikers in the EPL, but no way has he ever been one of the best in the world as many biased english pundits have suggested. Thermopylae 15,287
Tbh he's always been overrated. There was a point when he was one of the best strikers in the EPL, but no way has he ever been one of the best in the world as many biased english pundits have suggested.I think he may have been a better player in the 80s if he had went abroad at an impressionable age but he peaked too early in his career because he stagnated in the comfort zone of English football
SkiBunny 441
I think he may have been a better player in the 80s if he had went abroad Not think he'd have been a bit too young for that??
alstone 374
Where has this rumour come from? Alex ferguson will announce his retirement a year before he leaves the post, like he attested to do back in 02 no way will he just leave like this. Can't see Rooney leaving also , can't see why bayern would be interested either. Total bollocks!

RancidCutlass 190
Guardiola has always been a huge fan of Rooney. When he took over at Barca he showed the squad videos of Rooney chasing back and harrying the opposition and told his players he wanted them doing that. Iandoc1975 1,265
Ferguson will announce his retirement through an official announcement in the New York stick exchange. Something to do with their rules in changing corporate structures.

King Jela 20,659
Rooney really is everything that's wrong with modern, pampered, spoiled footballers these days. He's also a fine example of why scousers shouldn't exist.
