bluenose_72 198
I think our squad is fine, no need for any additions.
Buggleskelly 3,772
He only gets linked with us because his dad is a Rangers legend. He's a one trick pony courtesy of his occasional set piece success's. He's a bang average RB at best. I've seen Wylde, Aluko & even papac jink past him for fun. No thanks. AlBear. 8,499
Well at least you spelt his name right. We don't need him, end of.

Jimfanciesthedude 25,033
would have been a much better option for the right back slot than ricky foster imo
The Rangers FC 751
While I'm at it - Salim Kerkar is a free agent..
RancidCutlass 190
Sign him up.There should be money available as we manged to offload......eh...eh.
HG5 11,417
I don't think we need another RB. Already got about 5.One for every day of the weekExcept Saturday!
wearethepeople1 3,897
I would take him for a modest wageAll it takes is law and black to be injured and our midfield is substantially weakened
Zappa 358
would have been a much better option for the right back slot than ricky foster imoDefinitely and unlike Foster, he wouldn't be a 30 year old when we're about to go back into the top flight. elephants stoned 2,994
No thanks we need to be reducing our massive squad not adding players no better or worse than what we already have.
SteveJ 743
I cannot believe people are saying no to a good quality right back, who is only 23 years old and FREE. He would not command a large wage. If we can spunk money on 100% bonus to non-playing staff for wiining the bottom teir league, we can afford to invest in players who will be with us when we reach the final stage and Premiership football. woodvale1690 43
when he 1st appeared i thought son of legend, can he be as good or better, turns out not, so no
Gersfan1972 6
Aberdeen never brought aluko through either. They were still due a development fee. I am sure that Aberdeen did buy aluko for 50,000 ! ?
TheBoyDave 123
I think Tom Hateley would be a good signing and would improve as we go through the leagues.I would imagine wages would not be too high either. We have some players we could lose from midfield and defence who Hateley is better than and with his versatility he would be good for the squad in my opinion. The problem is we have probably signed too many players and have a too bloated squad to make this transfer feasible. 16BlueSherbert90 19,288
As good as he may be, we shouldn't be paying out more wages to players we are not in need of regardless of whose son he is.
GersAvA92 53
Can't believe he is still a free agent, I don't know he's shooting to high to get a "big" club or if it is a development fee due to Motherwell that is holding things up.Heard that Ally looked at him but wanted him as a RB but the lad prefers to be a centre-mid. He hasn't the pace to be a right back anyways so I agree with him, if we had offloaded Argyriou, Hutton and Mitchell during the window I'd have taken him but we're stuck with a few duds now that won't get back into the team unless Ally is forced to. Think we'll see a lot of players moving on in January, if not released before then.
Drunk and disorderly. 14,737
Not for me. He is unlikely to improve our squad. Best keep the money.
JR 1,480
There has to be something wrong if this lad is still a free agent. Attitude? arrogance? Who knows? But something just doesn't sit right so I'm happy to be distanced from him.
eejay the dj 31,964
Not good enough, hence the reason he has had a couple of trials and nothing. Not good enough .Hence the reason Ally will probably be interested :-) .That along with fact he is big Marks son.Still think it will happen . TMB 14,167
He is a free agent after leaving Motherwell. His only positives that stick out to me is he was not bad at free kicks and obviously he is the son of Mark Hateley. Would be interesting to see if McCoist shows any interest or perhaps gives him a trial. He's not a player we need as our midfield is bustling but I wouldn't be too bothered if McCoist did sign him.Thoughts? I might not reply to this thread for a wee while because I'm about to leave the house. Just curious to hear the general thoughts of the forum.Really? How many free-kicks has he scored throughout his career?
The Godfather 72,787
If his name wasn’t Hateley then the majority on here wouldn’t even bother talking about him.
