ArchibaldLeitch 380
I believe its time that the supporters can buy alcohol from the food kiosks on matchdays. The troubles in the past, i believe, were down to excessive drinking by bringing your own alcohol to the ground, i would suggest that this remains in place and that carry-outs remain forbidden.I really do feel a pint or two before kick off inside the concourses would add to the overall matchday experience not to mention the financial benefits to the club. What is fellow bears opinions on this? You can get alcohol in the hospitality suites so i feel it should be available in all parts of the stadium and not reserved for the £100 a ticket crowd. There are obvious obstacles politically and from the police but if they could be overcome in my opinion it would be of benefit to the club and support overall. jintybear 8,660
Definitely! I mean you can drink at other sports events and concerts, etc. I don't see why it shouldn't be allowed.

corkinator 611
I agree, however, the tarriers would ruin it for everyone. It's due to them that a 605pm Sunday kick off got stopped. Horrible, disgusting bigots. And because of there evil hordes, this will never happen
BlueboyG 5,318
I think it would be a great idea, im sure you can buy a pint at Old Trafford up to kick off, the only downside would be the greed, they would want £4 a pint
ready1873 3,902
More than likely a minority would ruin it. Neds downing their bucky then coming in and getting a few pints may not work too well...
MonsterMunch 37
Few pints pre match in the pub, half bottle of vodka strategically hidden does the trick. Most of the modern day support are more interested in coming in ten minutes late and running home half an hour early to climb back in their Mrs handbags - don't think being able to but a pint in the concourse would change that. ManchestGer 347
I was wondering why everyone seemed to have smuggled the same kind of beer into Hillsborough in the summer until I realised it was actually on sale in the stadium up until kick off

Bighouse 1,012
Football fans cant be trusted to have a beer. There would be murder in the stands and anarchy on the streets. Animals they are!!!
RikkiMiller 87
I went to see Chelsea vs Everton at Goodison a year or so ago, and it was really weird to stand in the concourse with a pint at halftime. Good banter with the Chelsea lads too.
Terry Hurlock Loyal 12,133
Judging by the standard of catering at the stalls, the beer will be flat and lukewarm and no doubt cost at least a fiver per pint. No thanks. Also, the catering company would have to employ more people over 18 to sell it. That would cost them more on wages than the usual disinterested 16yr old lassie. andyhrfc 2,242
This is yet another example of why football in Scotland is in the dark ages. Alcohol on sale at all English grounds without any problems.
downviewbear 151
Surely if the english supporters can be trusted with a drink in ther grounds so can we .The english football supporter is as mad as anyone with the drink in them.
