He was on crutches, and I - among many other fans - wished him all the best with his recovery. People were genuinely showing affection for the guy, and he just moved on through and lapped it up, giving the odd nod and grinning like a Cheshire cat. Of course, by that point he must've already known that he was ready to ditch us for nothing, but he still enjoyed the applause and attention plenty.Never want to see him at Ibrox again. I thought that going into penalties that he was jeapordising our chance of a final. Thankfully wee Nacho sorted it and it was only then I realised we would be without him for the final. I actually think him missing the final affected us just about ( though not as much ) as big Hateley missing the Marseille game in 93 . Difference is I think Hateley was harshly done by.
