hooooootchy 405
Not the signing we should be making , but under mccoist next year could be a struggle so for the short term Id take him back to help guarantee promotion next year . If we sign him it should only be short term contracts on low money
there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
I'm resigned to the fact Ally will bring him back unless Graham Wallace grows a set and says "No"

Reformation Bear 6,453
From what we've seen fromt he last few seasons, the emphasis in signings errs towards experienced players being signed who can handle the pressure and who have shown before that they can deliver. Whether you'd put Foster and Smith into the 'and deliver' bracket is another story but experienced they are. So if Miller is affordable and if any other experienced strikers who have delivered or who would on balance be more than likely to deliver are affordable then I suspect that efforts would be made to sign them. I doubt if anyone on the Ibrox management / coaching staff or the Board are going to take many chances on signing players unless there is good probability that they would play their full (and more) part in winning promotion next season. The time for any experiments with the likes of signing another Clarke look to me to be over. That's not to say that the Manager and coaching staff won't look to get some of the Auchenbowie U20s some more game time. Next season may well be a much sterner test of Ally's managerial coaching ability and using the opportunity to get the very best out of the squad and the U20s combined. Wonder if Barrie MacKay will now feature next season too having had some playng time with Morton.
