Ma2 94
Should we get promoted the reality could be we will be fighting relegation unless we can somehow put a better team together than we have nowHow will the support cope in this situation-will crowds dwindle? Smile 26,622
Beats me why he's been here so long we picked up a lot of these cretins during the King takeover we are slowing whittling them down.

Wearethepeople72 1,847
Disagree. If we get rid of all the players who are out of contract and reinvest that money in the team wisely, I don't think finishing second is impossible.
Captain Hilts 12,819
probably won't dwindle as much as your mob's has since the biggest team in the country got demoted
Mr RFC 696
Should take all of about one transfer window to get a better squad than we have currently.
gmcf 34,683
I'd be looking to be fighting to be in the top 6 at the split next season , and looking to win a Euro spot the season after.
trains 588
Get a good summer with a few new signings, lose some of the older and slower players and a change of ethos on our fitness, training and tactical awareness and I'd see us competing easily in the top six as its a league that has gone down in quality over the last few years. j1mgg 3,766
Teams in the SPFL are very poor, and it wouldn't take a large spend to take them all on, sadly we have been even worse which will change in the summer when we get rid most of the shite

Nalla1959 111
If we get promoted this season I would think that the board will sanction a good spending spree in order to challenge at the top end right away.
Creampuff 22,628
Realistically we'd only need a couple of decent free agents and a couple of 250-500k signings to be up there with the best of the rest.
TMB 14,167
Dundee United, Motherwell, Aberdeen, etc. All are very average teams that have 3 or 4 players of quality doing most of the work. I'm pretty sure we can achieve that same high standard

islandblue 366
The SPL is gash. I don't think it would be too difficult to build a squad to challenge for the title
The Blue Sea of Ibrox 2000 66
Got a lot of faith in McCall to get us promoted via the playoffs. That being said must win game tomorrow night no excuses of being less than a week in the job. Next Sunday will be the big one against Hibs need to get something from that game. All going well and we get promoted MacCall will be given a new contract and we will sign a few decent players. Top three place should be achieved in first season back to premier imo. GibsonGray 3
With each passing game, this becomes less of a concern. I'd say right now there's probably about a 5% chance of us going up!

I'd say right now there's probably about a 5% chance of us going up!Long hard road ahead-starting from scratch againThis time around with less money than McCoist had at his disposalStaying in championship might mean we could put a few wins under our beltAn English premier club fan stated that he was looking forward to relegation so he could see his team win a few games!!!What have we become? Ryan_1 1,136
Like I said in the another thread we ain't going up. Also if we did only the brain dead would think we'd start the next season whether in the top flight or Championship with a similar team to this season.
