Australia and India have quietly put together an excellent series.

Going into a 98-over final day, India need 328, Australia need 10 wickets.

India definitely come away with a lot of credit, been dogged.

Although questions need asked why so many muscular injuries on a tour?

Surprised how little the Aussies have gotten out the pitch. Certainly haven't bowled that badly.

Been very little swing today, but where the Indians often got the ball misbehaving yesterday - the Aussies haven't been able to replicate it today.

Pujara has been excellent today - proper test batsman and seems to thrive in Australia. Regardless of how this last hour goes - the Indians come away with a lot of credit.

Listened to the last hour and ok it was ABC Grandstand but the bias and arrogance from the commentators was jaw droppingly bad.

Still convinced when India needed 3 that if they just got Pant out then the other 3 to come in.. Cant bat.

Actually cheered when Pant then hit the next ball for 4. Get it right up ye ya bunch of convict cunts.

Great finish to a terrific well fought series.

What strength in depth India have in both batting and bowling!!

Surprised how little Aussie got out of a day five deck though Cummins is a class act.

Not sure about any Aussie bias on the ABC stream, thought they were pretty fair tbh, esp when compared to BBC Radio England Cricket that masquerades as TMS.

It's their team tbf, no different really to the guys on TMS especially when Boycott used to be on it, as much as I like him! I still remember Boycott & co absolutely rinsing Mo Abbas after his first few deliveries, literally pissing themselves live on national radio and Boycott said something along the lines of "who does this lad think he is, coming over here bowling at 75mph, he's got no chance". Abbas then took a 5fer in that game and Boycott mumbled some sort of apology a few days later.

Incredible win from India. The bastards

Not sure if it's just the pitches have had no cricket on them for a year whilst presumably still being maintained and held up really well as a result - but the Sydney test was very similar - pitch didn't do a huge amount on day 5.

The Indian quicks, who are all a good 5-10mph slower and 5-6" shorter in height, were getting quite a bit more varied bounce and seam off the pitch than the Aussie attack were.

Paine set some overly cautious fields, but can't say the Aussies bowled that badly. Lyon was a bit off, and the lack of swing neutered Starc somewhat, but neither were terrible

Don't get me wrong, the Indians batted well, and it was a pretty remarkable test series. but.... there is a reason why 300+ day 5 chases are rare. So a bit odd to see it happen 2 tests in a row.

However, again raises questions about Paines' captaincy. I couldn't see a Steve Smith led Aussie side losing that test.
