Who Would You Take?

Gordon for sure. Some will say he doesn't fit our style but I don't think Foderingham does either. Foderingham is trying to pass from the back but it's clearly not something he's comfortable with.

I don't watch enough Scottish football to suggest anyone else.

Last season hearts were very fortunate in anything they got from us, this season they have started well but not beat anyone of note. We are a different proposition now but why do people on this forum rate them so highly?

I agree with you but whenever Aberdeen and Celtic are mentioned, Hearts are usually there too so I thought I'd better include them in case they have some good players. I'm in the same boat as most other people in that I couldn't really name many players in the premiership.

I'm interested to know how Hearts squad has changed.

Has it changed much? Is it noticeably better or worse than last year?

Would be interesting to know actually. Given that they're doing so well, It would bode well for us next year. And we wouldn't have to strengthen much.

McCoist made Hearts as much as Neilson or Levein did last year.

He gave them two wins which gave them a belief they didn't have beforehand.

They lost one or two games, one of them quite heavily, early on.

Then all of a sudden they became consistent with McCoist boosting their confidence with 6 points out of 6.

Am not bitter against him, but a can't hope one gets relegated without the other

Blame mccoist for losing a talented boy.

Charlie loved rangers and always wanted to play for us. Mccoist lied to him, offered him a deal with promises of building a team around him and then over a season gave him less than 90 mins of first team football whilst playing black etc with no creativity.

I hate utd, but no gripe with him, his family are great people and it hurt them to move away from his dream.

Another great legacy from our gardener.

Not interested in the SPL so no idea but I suppose or supposedly weakest link in our best starting XI would be the goalie. Apart from a few dodgy clearances he's been pretty sound though not tested much.

Replace who? Kiernan? Wilson? Holt? Wags? I mean ffs, no thanks. I love these guys.

From all the Premiership teams I'm genuinely not sure who would walk into our side right now....like others have suggested perhaps Gordon, Mackay-Steven or Armstrong (although would they get ahead of Oduwa or Zalalem on current form...i'm genuinely not convinced they would).

Since we left, the premiership is more competitive but the overall standard of player is less IMO. C****c have bought most of the better Scottish players but I think they have largely wasted quite a lot of money on poor foreign players. The quality of their squad is far poorer than when we were in the SpL when I would have taken Larsson, Nakamura etc from their team at that point. They currently have nobody even close to that level of player. People are saying we need a proper poaching striker but I don't think any of the premiership teams have one that I would take over our forward line currently.

Will be really interesting to see us against a Premiership team to gauge where we are at. I'd rather not play C****c or Aberdeen etc until later as I wouldn't want anything to potentially break our momentum or damage our confidence at that point.

As you say mate he may have prospered under mw but as warbs says we only want people here that want to be here, am sure he rejected a contract from us to sign for them

I think Hearts have a good younh CB. Can't remember his name now.

Not the SPFL but I hear Xavi's time at Barca may be coming to an end. We have a ready made replacement for Zelalem right there. Getting on a bit now is Xavi but he's a model pro so Warburton will love this.
