You can be a hero and shite at football buddy, they are not mutually exclusive. Stop fishing for likes and answer the question.

Fred H Crawford 1,182
Definitely Jim Casey , league cup semi final '78/79 . Gordon Dalziel & Jan Bartram run him close though ,but as long as it's in their net then who cares ?

Inigo 32,534
Shame Bartram had a Souness bust up. Coulda been a right good player for us.

murzo 7,447
Don't remember that game at all, probably for the better. Like you thought he was a great left back and was gutted he had his bust up with Souness

Clearly just blanked it a bit from the memory.
Fred H Crawford 1,182
Never really rated Bartram , always preferred Stuart Munro or Bomber who iirc signed at the same time as Bartram . Looking back , Souness never rated any of them as he kept signing left backs , Jimmy Phillips , Tom Cowan and Chris Vinnicombe and none of them could hold down that position . 87/88 was a huge anti climax after the season before , so i'm sure a few of us have erased memories of it , especially when we remember the following 9 seasons.
