Will need to see it again but though it was a shoulder to shoulder

It was but cynical as ML says he was in the clear, correct decision imo, Man City don't half do some fannying around in front of goal, oops 2 nil now.

Shoulder to shoulder doesn't necessarily mean its not a foul.

If the ref deems it to be excessive force when he's 'charging' then they can give a foul. The other thing is he's not actually going for the ball in this instance - its miles away so he can be deemed to impeding an opponent through contact.

Because its stopped a promising attack its a yellow card.

The last 5 years, Pep has been a high budget Warburton.

The way he sets up was basically devised for Spanish sides that couldn't match teams physically so they outplayed opponents by creating clever overloads.

But football has evolved, especially at the elite level in Europe, and Klopp and Zidane have been the people to be on that trend.

I would add Sterling to this list. And hopefully get Sane to stay.

But of course Pep is going to run away.😝🤭

MAN CITY SET FOR SUMMER REBUILD

Manchester City are set for a huge summer rebuild after Pep Guardiola warned his players they face Judgement Day at the end of the season, according to the Sunday Mirror.

The future of at least seven of Guardiola's squad is reportedly under threat, going into the last four months of the campaign with decisions set to be made on John Stones, Benjamin Mendy, Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Joao Cancelo, Nicolas Otamendi and Angelino.

Angelino’s away is he not?

Walker should be on there.
