Waghorn off in January?

Except for 7 goals in 4 appearances in the league cup and salvaging a point for us on the opening day before getting injured?

Waghorn is a decent player. Completely agree that he's been poor since coming back. Definitely low in confidence and trying to score in a team that has been struggling and full of equally underperforming players.

The league cup games were last seasons type of opposition.

How long do we give him?

possibly, but sometimes if you go from being first pick to one of a number, get injured and lose form and confidence, leaving can seem more attractive than staying. Add to that any family problems, particularly with the old firm goldfish bowl, it's predictable. This squad hadn't won anything significant yet or played in Europe. Once that happens the squad will be mire settled. Except for the bigger offers that will inevitably come from down south for our better players.

Waghorn has went from hero to zero stepping up a league. He is overweight and has just lost it, like so many others. This squad lack the quality needed to mount any sort of a challenge and for most of them it's their second season together so they are not exactly strangers and playing to the same system, plan A!

As for Europe, one can dream, but this crew are not getting anywhere  near as they would never gett through the qualifyers. Then there is also the burden of plan A. It just aint happening.

Lastly, just who are our better players? Tav's? A defender who has some attacking qualities, but offers little defensively, so what English club would pay a premium for a defender who offers little defensively? As for the rest, I can't name any who would be so wanted in England, as none of them have set the heather on fire thus far.

He's hopeless. Saved the game against Hamilton ? He was rank, missed so many chances and finally scored near the end. Aberdeen he missed an absolute sitter from yard out. His only game of note was against QOTS and even Morton put 5 past them. He's nowhere near good enough for us and this talk about millions for him is laughable. We won't get 500k for him.

Exactly, as soon as someone has a few bad games they become shit. Fucking nauseating!

He's always been shit. Let's face it, that's why we got him?

Even a shit forward can score goals for rangers against lower league opposition.

He seems to enjoy the profile and attention that comes with playing for Rangers but lacks the balls to actually make a difference on the pitch.

Will fade into utter obscurity in English lower leagues.

No decent team will accept a striker who takes 6 chances to score one goal.

He did score a great goal against Motherwell in the first game of the League Cup.

You'd sell him for fifty grand?

Sorry it was meant to say £500,000 but missed a 0, I have now sorted it but maybe the likes I got were agreeing with my fifty grand. Oops. :gerbad:

This is how we keep the Level up the players and the Manager need to know that just coasting may be okay at Brentford and the Wigans but they are shite clubs with no expectations, Rangers demand and expect better.
