If a crisp packet had blown onto the field at ibrox the media would have been demanding the closure of ibrox and a return to capital punishment yet not one will have the balls to come out and mention the fact that shit was thrown at one of the planets top players in our country . It's emberassing , journalist probably all to busy tugging each other off to pictures of the shitey light display they carried out for whatever reason

They were absolutely classless on all fronts last night. Just proved how far off the big clubs they actually are.

-booing barca when they had the ball (obviously this was happening a fair bit)

-ironic applause when a barca player made the odd mistake

-pelting neymar with projectiles

-the players lunging into messi with dangerous tackles

If we'd have done all of that it would have been the main focus of the post game coverage.

I heard 72 fans rounded the horrible fan out the ground and took him to the police station straight away

An open letter has already been produced and has been sent to the Spanish media, bins to be provided at their next home game to raise funds for ETA

You just cannot put a price on these courageous people, oppressed people have the heart of the lion

Be surprised if that quote from Messi is true given the anti football stuff.

Valdes agreed......

Valdes must have a thing for Britain as he named the atmosphere at Ibrox for a Champions League game in 2011 as the most intimidating he has experienced. He said: “The most intimidating stadium I have played in was when we played Rangers. There must be something about the city of Glasgow because they made so much noise. Normally as a goalkeeper you block out the noise of the fans but the noise they made that night was impossible to ignore.”

Valdes and Henry loved the atmosphere that night.
