The Portuguese has been busy in the transfer market as he looks to re-shape his squad, bringing in five new players with further arrivals in the pipeline. It may feel like the curtain has only just fallen on the 2016/17 season, but the Gerswill be back in competitive action before the end of the month as they begin their long and perilous path through the Europa League qualifiers. Four rounds, each consisting of two legs, stand between Rangers and a place in the group stages. By the end of August, the Ibrox club will already be fighting on three fronts in Europe, the Premiership and the Betfred Cup. The first step of the gruelling summer schedule will be finding out their Europa League opponents next Monday at 1pm. They asked for an away game due to surprise surprise wanting to cancel a home game for a 'glamour' friendly. what league in the world would let you postpone a league game for a friendly!
