Prso's headband 35,890
Don’t think he’s got a chance now anyway. If we sign Goss permanently he won’t be getting in the team ahead of him or Docherty

Get him to fuck, already cost us plenty and he has given then club back nothing. Cut our losses and get rid.........was a reason Liverpool let him go, sure people can say they wanted to keep him but if its a choice between an EPL wage and a SPL wage playing at the club you support then there is n9 choice to make. Get shot of him Fuck off. Complete prick. He's hardly getting injured intentionally. He's a young guy who's had a lot of bad luck, he's our player and we should do our very best to help him from both a humanitarian and business point of view. And anyway, he has a contract so how exactly would we go about "getting shot of him"?

The whole insurance thing is a minefield with all sorts of policies taken out by clubs and players themselves. I had a friend who worked for a company insuring rugby players and know of someone who had to give up due to injury in his early twenties. He bought a house with the money and was then pursued by the insurance company as they claimed he was actually fit to resume his career. Ended up being a total nightmare for him and he had to sell the house and give the money back, about £200k in our money.

raging blue 1972 894
Unfortunately looks like he's another rosenthal, prodan etc. When I think of our players to come back (Dorrans, Jack, McCrorrie, Wallace), Rossiter is one I forget about. Shame for the lad but think we really do need to cut our losses now and offer him some sort of a pay off.

Business wise I think it would be wise to think about letting him go when his contract is up.......has a year or a little more I believe. The fact is we have had this guy for 2 years and in that time he has played 5 games. The last one was almost 8 months ago while the time before that nearly a year. Looking at how it is going for him it doesnt look good. He has been given lots of time yet still looks a LONG way off getting close to the first team all the while being a drain on finances with no positive outcome on the horizon......how long exactly do we give him ! TopCat 4,511
Wish the guy all the best but would rather he was moved on asap............. but who's gonna sign an injury prone player like him? Think he might need to hang up his boots tbh.

gj923 1,457
Strange one as it’s not a single injury he is fighting back from but a variety of different ones picked up along the way. The fact he is so young and has not had a senior career you wonder if he has the hunger/mental strength to get back on the park. The odds are against him making it with the people we have signed along with the calibre of loans we are now getting.

The Specky Forum Organiser 65,925
He's never going to be fit enough to play for us but an opponent has injured him here, that 100% isn't his fault. Some very poor comments in here.

Goss isn't our player though...
