There’s no way they can suspend this season on health grounds and then let the taigs play a Euro tie, if the season is suspended then the taigs must forfeit their CL tie, how could you suspend a season on health grounds then let them potentially spread it to another country?

Especially when they are the cunts who caused the suspension due to lack of due diligence

Yes I know all of that. Not sure if it would come under the bracket of ineligible player. Would be good if it did.

I think it should. Surely it's similar to playing a player who's supposed to be suspended.

So..... if celtic only had 2 days off last week how did he manage to spend approx 4 days away without the club knowing his whereabouts? Did he call in sick?

Claiming back all the Injury Time they get as TOIL.

It is difficult to imagine a more irresponsible action in current circumstances and we find it beyond explanation.

This is what the authorities should be saying to celtic as a club.

If he wasn't, I'd be more tempted to think celtic just threw caution to the wind and included him regardless.

Match officials dont have the power to check everyone has been tested due to confidentiality and there's a certain element of trusting clubs to comply with the guidelines. Players are all temp checked on the way into the ground (Bolingoli will have too).

Both player and club have acted irresponsibly, looks like the club are diverting attention to the player to take the heat off them ,

They won’t get away with this it isn’t the usual suspects asking the questions

Would part of the guidelines with the Scottish government be that player passports are held by the club?

That's solely a UEFA decision. If Scot Gov pull the plug on football, UEFA will either move it to a neutral venue or declare it a forfeit.

So what is the thinking behind stopping all of Scottish football? Wouldn’t simply having any affected clubs (Killie and celtic) postpone their matches of the next 14 days not be sufficient?
Why would our match against St Johnstone have to be stopped?

Yeah that's right. All test results need to be submitted 48 hours before KO. This is where the real issue is for me. Player going is a monumental fuck up but celtic NEED to confirm he was tested along with the rest of the squad and submitted on time.

Do u know if they've been asked that and what the response is.

If anything this will turn into a massive benefit. Pausing the league for a month in which they stumbled at the 2nd hurdle, free to qualify for europe, get rid of a player that hasn't performed. Not only will they get away with it, they'll be delighted with it.
