Wasn't on for very long but not really. Touch isn't that good and seen no signs of this alleged explosive pace. Hope he kicks on in next few games.

He did well for the ten or so minutes  he was on .

Chased and won  an out ball but their defender showed him wide and he couldn't get a shot in so he turned the ball back to Bassey which  led to the winner .

Almost scored the third after great pass from Lundstram , hit the keeper but was just offside anyway.

Looks good for me.

Apart from the Madrid friendly we've really just by the skin of our teeth made any impact. We aren't retaining the title.

You always want players who feel they still have something to prove every time they go on the park perhaps the ones you mention and a few others have passed that stage now?
 

I also feel we need more supporters in the team ... with the great unwashed having a bad week losing their chief exec our players should have taken the filed looking to rub it in but I think too many have Thursday night at the back of their minds
