Hopefully ends in disaster.

Thing is.. This is exactly what Man Utd need as a club right now. They will also need to be very patient and let him build a team and impliment his style. It will take a long time, I reckon.. but.. Man Utd wont afford him that time and wont let him be in charge of it 100%. Thats why this will end in disaster.

They need to gut the club and start again.

Man Utd are in a similar position to what we were when we appointed Gerrard in the sense that they need somebody with that strength of character and personality to bring the standards back to the club.

The likes of Ten Hag and Pochettino are good coaches, but they don’t have that strength of personality.

They really need Zidane, he’s the only name they should be seriously pursuing but he’s obviously holding out for another job. Whether that’s PSG, France or maybe even Juventus, I’m not sure.

Difference being they can throw a couple of hundred million on the table  to help out the new manager

See the thing is you say it will take a long time, if he’s that good a manager it shouldn’t, look at the difference across the city now compared to last season. If Fat Ange can do it surely a manager with much higher pedigree should be capable of this in a similar time frame.

That cunt spent millions to compete with one other team in the league. Whoever ends up in the United job has 2 of the best teams in Europe to compete against, along with the current European championships and a resurgent Spurs under Conte. No champions league football for another year makes attracting the calibre of player they need to bridge the already sizeable gap to the top 2 even more difficult, and by the looks of things from the outside there's a deep rooted problem around the club even outwith the major work needing done on a bloated squad of bang average shite.

He is up against very good teams with huge budgets. They need a complete overhaul as a club. Sometimes these things take a lot longer in good leagues. Look at Klopp.

I’m really not sure about Ten Haag tbh. He’s done well with Ajax but so did de Boer and he was an absolute disaster everywhere he went after that. Obviously that’s a very basic and obvious comparison but people coming out of the Dutch leagues and into the major leagues, both coaches and players, have been a bit of a mixed bag.
