Desperate times call for desperate measures and right now Alan Gow is the only fit player on our books with a bit of creativity about him. I know Walter will probably never play Alan Gow(the question arises why he bought him), but we cry out for changes and I'd still give him the nod ahead of Fleck and Furman. We need some attacking midfielders in our team, no Daillys, Adams or Hemdanis. Ideally we should have signed three midfielders as Lafferty is a striker, but WS seemed to have other plans, so we can only choose from the players we have. It pains me to have McCulloch in the starting eleven but who else? Novo is suspended. Whittaker is not a midfielder. What would your team look like? Think McGregor needs a couple of games on the bench to let his head swell down a bit. If he makes another couple of mistakes his confidence could be shattered, which we don't need a couple of weeks before the game at Parkhead. Also I think playing the youngsters on Saturday, in what now is a huge game for us, would be a bad move. The last thing we need is their confidence being done in when we can expect quite a hostile reception if we don;t score in the first 30 mins or so. Their time will come and the CIS Cup would be a good way to start giving them some first team experience. To be honest, I can't see Walter Smith changing the team at all. he will stick to it to try and prove it will work and i fear it may be his downfall.
