Why the hell did we spend so much money on him if we are just going to use him as a utility player???? Hes only 21 and is already under pressure due to his price tag but walter smith is not helping him by playing him out of position. Most people are just going to look at his goal record and say hes pish but that would be unfair as he hasnt really played as a striker yet. Its not fair to criticise players for not playing well when they are out of position. Barry ferguson cant play in defence, thomson would be pish as a right midfielder, boyd would be rubbish as a central midfielder. But they are all good in one position and thats why they are all important players. Get a player and stick him to the one position hes good at. We have a big squad theres no need for people to be able to play in multiple positions. I'd rather they were good in one position than average in 3 or 4 different positions. Still not happy with lafferty playing on the right side of midfield though. Think i would probably rather we had sasa at lb and played whittaker at right midfield. hes not great there but at least hes actually right sided!!
