OK here are the 28 first team members - you have to cull upto 10 (Makes it harder as well) and lets see who we would drop. Assume no one else comes in and what is left has to win the league (may be difficult without 2 or 3 new players BUT lets assume no new players for this vote).

I would get rid on:

Steven Smith, Christian Dailly, Brahim Hemdani, Drachville, Burke, Niguez (Personal preference based on the fact he is only a loan player and why develop talent for someone else to reap the rewards), Adam and DeBeasley. (Thats 8 as I think a squad of 18 is two small and would fight to keep 20 - although there are the youngsters to call in!!)

You forgot to add Lee Robinson to the list.

He went on loan to Greenock Morton and failed to hold a place down so how the hell can he make it at Ibrox - He's only ever had one appearance as a substitute for less than 10 minutes, says it all.

Smith, Weir, Dailly, Adam, McCulloch, Hemdani, Beasley, Velicka, Burke and Darcheville.

Say all these players go (wishful thinking i know)...you're only left with:

McGregor

Alexander

Broadfoot

Whittaker

Bougherra

Papac

Steven Smith

Davis

Ferguson

Mendes

Thomson

Niguez

Edu

Lafferty

Novo

Boyd

Naismith

Miller

and a bit of cash to bring in a couple quality players instead of buying players for the sake of bulking up the squad.

There is not a snowball's chance in hell that a lot of teams will pay to take players like Smith, Dailly and Weir off our hands but we should be able to get some money for Beasley, Hemdani, Darcheville etc.

He's only a reserve player, not 1st team squad. Same as Furman, Fleck etc

Yeah he is still young but you should have heard how scathing the Morton Loyal were about him. Originally he was a striker who 'progressed' to playing goalkeeper - bit like Lee Wilkie playing up front for Dundee United (yes it has happened).

Don't get me wrong, a main reason why we have struggled so much is the fact we mis-use our youth and this has to be put right. If Walter has a January sale as the press speculate then he must give Fleck, Aaron (remembering Kenniburgh and Loy are on loan).

We need to produce more Alan Hutton's - If every couple of years we produced a youngster and sold him for £9million then our debt problems would, eventually, disappear.

Just look at Hibs........
