Rangers Having a Scotland Day!

Will this Scotland Day be a day to remember? I hope so, or will it just fizzle out ?

If Rabbie was born after 1872 do you think he would have been a bluenose? I say definately and he would have been a member of the Ayr True Blues

Scottish and Brittish and proud to be, at least we are not plastic Scots.

The only ones that can make it a success mate is us. the Rangers fans.

The way I see it is that this is nothing to do with internal / external politics but all to do with creating an atmosphere and helping the team to 3 valuable points. As far as I am concerned we should do this kind of thing as much as possible.

well said contacts, thats as well put as can be as for bluedell well he didn't look at other posts and isn't aware this was something put in place when Labour were in charge in Scotland, still never get let facts get in the way of a good rant eh?

Maybe the Blue Order could do a banner with all the names of the Gers player who have played for Scotland on it.

Captains of Scotland!

Now that would be nice...!

Should be named on that annoying advert thing that runs round the pitch.

you mean me wearing a sandwich board running around the pitch advertising the socialist workers party? Thought you loved that?

Good idea, I'm up for anything that can make a bit of atmosphere at Ibrox these days.

Don't go for all this homecoming pish but will certainly take part in this.

I would hope if the Club are organizng this they'll be giving out mini saltires as they have done in the past for league wins or will they be leaving it up to the fans ?

Rangers: born in the Highlands of Scotland, matured to glory in Glasgow and now the quintessential British club.

Ariel view of the Gareloch, illustrating Rhu, Shandon, Gareochhead and the Arrochar Alps to the north. This is where our founders hailed from, and where Moses McNeil now rests.

And why does that affect the way that it appears to have been hijacked for political purposes in the present?

I've been wondering about that moving advertising. Should it not carry a warning for people who have epilepsy?

Nice drive up that way when you get past Helensburgh. Used to go pick mussels in Arrochar.

Looks nice Moses. Never been to that neck of the woods before.

Fuxake, guess what? People who live in Scotland aren't that interested in the Homecoming campaign. It's not aimed at us!

And bluedell scores low marks for being grumpy.

I love these days we have, and I look forward to touring the world with Rangers. I still think we should go for 'battle honours' hanging from the inside ceilings of the stands, with our badge, the opponents badge, date, competition and result on it. Games we won, obviously, I can't see the 0-3 Red Star Belgrade banner going down too well. Since the club is listening, I thought I'd mention it.

For anyone who is questioning this idea i would encourage you to be openminded about it as from my point of view as a Northern Irish man i would love the opportunity to repay the fantastic support given to us on the ulster day by embracing the saltire and all things scottish.
