Gooseman 889
I know that this sad incident is not about point scoring, and it's humbling that the club and support showed Mr Rigbys family such a high level of support... First the management act as pall bearers to a late Celtic manager and then we as a support behave so gallantly towards a fallen soldier and his parents. After everything this club and support have been through it show we can put things into sharp focus and realise that football is just a game at the end of the day
Leeds_Bear 8,110
It's amazing, down here in England all my pals say they wish their club had stronger ties with the forces and how much respect they have for the Rangers support.Yet north of the boarder it seems it either not reported or talked as if we're point scoring. Pathetic really. We've always had a strong tradition of supporting our troops and I'm glad to see the support isn't afraid to carry that on, even in the face of ignorant criticism.Lee Rigby's family need all the support they can get and I for one am proud my club is playing its part. loyalfollower 1,543
Its a shame alot of organisations didnt do the same. The man should never be forgot. Was taken from his young son of 2 I believe. Reporters who see this as poimt scoring should ask themselves 'is showing moral support point scoring?' *Manticore* 1,893
Aye it's good that Rangers did the right thing, but it's still sad that the original horrific events happened.I am still a bit shocked by such a thing happening on our Capital's streets. beechwood bear 559
This shows why we have the greatest fans in the world. Not point scoring, just doing the right thing for Lee's family. Every bear would have been shocked and saddened by what happened and its only right that we let them know we're with them all the way.
