"build Bridges With Scottish Football"

A day after the filth shamed the entire country yet again with their refusal to stay silent for 60 seconds,we have the BBC rolling out the expected spin and deflection with this story.

Rangers fans 'sang offensive songs' on train to Glasgow

British Transport Police (BTP) are attempting to trace Rangers fans who sang "religiously offensive songs" on a train from England to Scotland.

About 20 men boarded the Manchester Airport to Glasgow Central service at Lancaster at about 10:15 on Saturday.

They sang offensive songs until the train arrived in Glasgow at 12:30. BTP have appealed for witnesses.

Rangers later beat Alloa 4-0 at Ibrox. A minute's silence was held beforehand to commemorate Remembrance Day.

So as to be expected when it's Rangers fans singing "offensive songs" the Beeb are all to happy to mention which club these supporters belong to. Lets also not forget this sensational story and the events that followed.

Arrests made at Hibernian v Rangers Challenge Cup match

Rangers could be in trouble with the Scottish Professional Football League due to the behaviour of some of the club's fans during their win over Hibs.

So I'll ask the question, why should we seek to build a friendly relationship with Scottish Football when it's abundantly clear to anyone but the board, that continually seeks to put the boot in and print nothing but constant attacks on our club and support?

Never seen scotsport last night OP?

BBC Scotland actually had a go at the septic fans who didn't stay silent. Was actually surprised to hear it.

Then had a go at Stevie Thompson about ebts.

Scotsport hasn't been on for about 8 year

IMO it's the right thing by the club to do in making these conciliatory statements, but I would hope that no one inside Rangers believes a bloody word of them, I'm also 100% certain not one supporter agreed with any of them either, Scottish football will never be the same again as the hatred is to far ingrained now.

Maybe that's the point of building bridges. The focus by many (not all) on negative stories shows up the schism in Scottish football. Losers always need a scapegoat, an enemy they can blame everything on. At this time it's all things Rangers. Soon, when we are in Europe playing excellent football, bringing crowds to away grounds, supplying national team players, increasing Scotland's co-efficient, attention will be turned to other clubs with a current hegemony, that steal other club's players from them so they lose a cup final and go from 3rd to relegation in one season, that can't beat a team that's 6th in the Norwegian league, that harbours (encourages) sectarian elements. Need I continue?

It takes two to build bridges and that won't happen whilst the others you are supposed to build bridges with wish nothing but to cause us harm.

And in my case I wish all of the clubs and fans that rushed like hyenas to attack us nothing but misery forever.

How do you build bridges with the rest of Scottish football when they decided to burn the same bridges in 2012 in a move designed to kill our club.

Appeasement with the haters in Scottish football would be a sign of weakness.

Build bridges with the rest of Scottish football when they have come to their senses and have stopped allowing hatred to set the agenda.

I think in reality we probably do have to build bridges, because we have to be part of driving the direction of the game for it's and our benefit. However, bridges need to be built from both directions. The SPFL and the leaders of their clubs need to stop pandering to their fans' hatred. A good start, and a sign that they'd be willing to be reasonable, would be a strong, non-populist statement against the idea of title stripping.

We have to become more influential in Scottish football. Not just on the park but in the sfa and spl. Lie well etc al currently have it stitched up. Tell us OP how do you think King should go about this?

We need to take the media head on. Ban the obvious ones known to despise us and lie or shit stir. We need to fight to protect our titles at all costs. But King has to be like a slippery politician and get Rangers men onto influential committees. Shouldn't be too difficult for him...

Exactly. Is all seems to be on us but if the people we're suppose to be reaching out to doesn't reach back out to us then how the hell are we supposed to start afresh?

Seriously, fuck Scottish Football and the cunts who infest it. It's more about hating Rangers than it is loving and supporting their own club.

Building bridges can only happen when two parties agree. Those who hate Rangers and obsess about our every move cannot be met in the middle.

They despise our club and support and seek to see us finished. They will never see their dream come true.

if scottish football also wishes to build bridges with us, then they have ample opportunity following the club statement to say that no further sanctions will be applied and the LNS ruling still applies. Job done.

If they decide to say anything other than that, then the bridge building exercise supposedly started with the Scottish footballing authorities and mentioned in our annual report is already a non starter as it will show that they have not moved on in 3 years and we are still being targetted.

i wonder where we go from there?
