Blackandra 732
Why did he refuse an interview tonight with BT? Anything to do with the last one where Traynor stepped in? Do u think he was advised not to do one?
SeparateEntityMyArse 53,725
Dunno. But in my opinion his starting 11 was dodgy. His team got him a win at a very difficult venue. Well done MW.
MasterD 7,435
Most likely because of the Sutton shite from weeks ago.
graeme_4 34,527
Probably Sutton related.

jbm26896 995
I would think it would be because of Suttons personal criticism of him and Rangers recently
Captain Hilts 12,819
It would've been 1 quick question about the game and a further 5 about Barton. Hope he only speaks to RTV from now on.

RDFM 3,809
Pressure is getting to him I think, hope he stays out of any media stuff for a while so he can relax a bit. It's not easy being scruitinised every waking second.

Think we could have been better but yes, he was right, his team selection got him 3 points. However considering next week there is also a consideration that next Sunday's team should have started tonight. I don't think our 11 could anywhere near cope next Sunday. And it's naive again to chop and change for such a big game. But time will tell and if it goes wrong hindsight Police such as myself will give an opinion. DMax399 3,704
I suspect he/the club were making the point, that if you continue to appear to be unfairly harsh in your views, then we retain the right not to play ball. It's no bad thing in my opinion, as it redresses the imbalance in reporting little by little. I notice that Sutton was fairly diplomatic in his commentary tonight. Still don't like the guy though - how could you?
pcbear 10,913
I would have liked to have heard his thoughts on the game but can see where he is coming from and that's fine by me.
Ibroxholm 2,276
Just saw a post match interview by MW on SSN. Clearly, giving an interview is not the issue. Maybe trying to make a point to BT, quite right to.

scottyscott1963 18,328
Me personally hope it's the precursor to that rhabid tramp sutton getting his jotters.
writingranger 1,413
probably a misunderstanding.

its_an_extender 869
Same sound bytes probably. Played well, difficult place to come and get 3 points, dominated the ball, should be more critical in front of goal, we're in good shape and will take it into next week. plumbGER 24,518
Sutton has tried a few times this season to tone it down. He does ok sometimes but his bitterness always shines though in the end. Well done the gaffer for starving the bastards of oxygen. No Surrender. Every other manager that's in a tight spot gets it - why should Warburton be any different? He's had plenty of praise when it's been due. Rough with the smooth & all that. (Not to say I agree with Sutton, but you don't give the bastards ANYTHING which makes them think they've got you rattled).
