Gio would have had our arses in the air after 15 minutes.  We walked away from that game thinking with a couple of changes we would have won.

Don’t get why he waited till basically 2-0 before the subs. Absolutely no one would have argued if a double change was made at half time. 

I’ve always been of the opinion that Beale knows we need a massive overhaul and he would be aware that the first few months of the job was just going to be a case of trying to get the players he has onside for long enough to get us to the Summer without another implosion and then he went and started two of them today in an area of the park that he instantly decided he wanted to improve, and spent weeks chasing two players to do so, only to leave them on the bench.
I’m not sure if it was a bit of naive management, because ultimately he’s still a rookie as a number one, or if he genuinely believes he can get Lundstram and Kamara playing again (he can’t).
Either way, the team selection today completely fucked us.

Today was his first loss. He's made some fuckups today, if he doesn't learn from it then there's an issue. But if Sakala hadn't fucked an absolute sitter we might have been thinking differently.
We've got maybe 4 pr 5 positions to sort. 
This isn't his team, give him the next 2 transfer windows then judge.

You do realise they won not one but two trebles while Gerrard was here?

If Beale wants to be successful here he's going to need to clear out a massive chunk of this squad. 
We have serial losers in this team that have failed under gerrard and gio. 55 was the exception. 
It's too ingrained now to be changed. 
Start by letting all out of contract players go. 

Enjoyed the second half, with a bit of luck we could have equalised and that would have rattled them even more.
There isn't a big gap between us and them. MB got his team selection wrong and he'll know he did. 
Beale gets some cash this summer and I see next season being very different.

It's not as bad as Premier Sports was, they just show their logo and adverts all the time instead of making you listen to their pundits.
