Doesn't  get any easier with age, 3 score and ten and avoiding critique like the covid

There was an announcement just before kick off that said not to ask for that reason.

I was at Gerrards unveiling and was pitch side with my daughter and tried to get as close to the pitch as I could to take a picture with her.
But I didn't dare step over the line on to the actual pitch. Its almost like sacred ground. I pictured stepping across the line and the spirit of Jock Wallace appearing and booting me in the arse and telling me to get the fuck off the grass 😅

I really feel for you as my wife pased away 2 years ago & I still miss her like crazy. It is wee things that will hit you like changing duvet covers or something happens on tv and you turn to say something to her. Like most couples a lot of nights watching tv you're probably lucky if you said 10 words to each other but she was there. The hardest thing for me is coming in to an empty house. As I say to people despite having family with 2 grandkids I am not lonely but just feel so alone at times.
