He’s played at a very high level throughout his career and I have absolutely no idea how he has managed it.

Woeful

He was good in his prime, but now he's making the most (money) from his fading powers and we're the amateur outfit to indulge him.

He won the headee for the first goal.

Wilson was at fault for the 2nd and Declan John jumped out the way for their third.

He might not be playing great but there is far worse out there today.

He won the header and knocked it 10 yards straight to them and he did the same several times. No passion anywhere. Only one player maybe get a pass and that was Holt.

Kranjcar, Barton, Alves, Senderos. The list goes fucking on.

5 years too late again. He’s fucking brutal the cunt.

I can’t stand captains that don’t challenge refereeing decisions, that don’t bawl and shout every minute and who doesn’t look like he wants to be here. It’s fucking torture

But he plays for Portugal, he can’t be pish

He does doesn't he.   A Portuguese pearl who finds himself playing in the backward retarded mire that is Scottish football.    Different game methinks.  Way too aggressive and 'up and at 'em' compared to the refined respectful game that is the game on the continent.

Tempted along with quite a few others by Pedro to give it a whirl here in Scotland.   But its not working out for him or the others.   They are just marking time imo waiting for the transfer window open in the hopes that they can move back to sunnier football and a game they understand and leave behind the blood and guts that passes for the game here.    Pedro, it seemed to me, was trying to modernise or change the way we'd approach games but it all went sour and with him gone his disciples will most probably follow him and we'll go back to trying to find more of the 'up and at 'em' combative players needed to muscle our way through league seasons.
