So if we're a bog standard team the same rookie manager is working miracles in Europe then?

Bit of balance required here, the away form in the league is simply not good enough and the players and manager will know this but overall we still deserve pass marks for our season so far.

I think "miracles" it's stretching it slightly.

Some of the players were complacent beyond belief today

Goldson had his most indecisive afternoon

Our full backs were powder puff

    Worral was extremely poor

Our midfield never seemed to have any drive

Lafferty and Alfredo were  pish and frustrating in equal measures

I found myself being reminded why I wanted Alfredo punted last season

We could have kept our confidence high today .We manager to fuck that up

I can see why lots of people having a go at the strikers but they had little to work with. Midfielders who don't pass forward (Arfield) or don't pass at all (Ejaria), full backs who have one good cross every twenty attempts and long balls shelled up at them from centre backs. Tough going for any forwards.

i dont really know much about Carter other than the song and the film, i thought it was established that he was set up and was innocent? Didn't know he was likely guilty?

wouldn't make me dislike the song tho, i grew up listening to the Desire album in my dads car, my favourite Dylan album

Blood on the Tracks for me.

It was alleged he was set up. He was released from prison but nothing was ever proven with regards to his guilt or innocence. Given two separate juries found him guilty and his pretty hideous character and past, I'd say more likely he was guilty.

Either way certainly not the character Bob sang about for nearly 9 minutes.

Speaking of Bob, apparently he owns a house near Aviemore and he has been to the local pub once or twice. Used to ski there and convinced myself I'd walk into a bar and have a pint with him. Never happened funnily enough.

I saw Pearl Jam in London in July, Eddie Vedder started ranting on about Trump for ages and showed a pic of the Trump baby balloon, i booed like fuck and was shouting just play the fucking song and getting daggers off cunts in the crowd but if it's the artists right to voice their opinion its my right to fucking boo it ? wouldn't walk out tho, still love the music, and they've always been quite a political band but i can listen to and enjoy a song that might be about politics that i disagree with but i dont pay good money and spend hours travelling to listen to some multi millionaire was lyrical about Trump or any other politician, im there for the music so fucking play some. They even have a song about Trump but its pish and i went to get a beer when they started playing it. But fuck any high and mighty millionaire artist standing on stage telling us in the crowd how to vote when they live the life most can only dream about.

And I like plenty of punk bands and left leaning bands cause the music's good, but even if i disliked Trump i wouldn't want to listen to some 5 minute rant instead of a 5 minute song

I hear what you're saying and I also felt like I could enjoy music, movies, television, etc without having to agree with the views of the musicians or actors who created it but it's definitely becoming tiresome listening to preachy do-gooders.

I used to really like the song Hurricane by Bob Dylan but when I looked into it and it became evident Carter was a cunt and probably guilty, it really killed the song for me!

I walked out when Roger Waters said his crap at the Hydro , but that is nothing compared to what my mate said about RS's gig about 10 years ago when they had Jimmy Johnstone's pictures everywhere . They felt they were being made a fool of and walked out despite looking forward to it .

    What did Rogers Waters say?

I met him again recently and his body language has completely changed from the first time I met him a few months ago when he was really positive and spoke pretty highly of Gerrard

He said he’s struggling to get to grips with playing and living in Scotland but didn’t allude to anything in particular

ill be shocked if he’s still at the club in January

That's unfortunate. You wonder what's so difficult here compared with Holland or Italy for example?

Haven't seen much of him but he looks quite languid? Easy comparison because he's also Nigerian and tall but Kanu also had that look. Easy to misinterpret that body language for disinterest.

Sadiq hasn't exactly racked up games in serie A.... he has played the Majority of his 1st team games in Holland?

I'm merely suggesting Scotland isn't nearly as physical as people try and make out. One of these things braindead people repeat without thinking.

When I see Scottish players/teams come up against forgeign opposition, they're generally smaller, weaker and slower.

Attempting to play kick and rush and 100 mile an hour doesn't make you tough.

Good question. I can't help but think he can't get his head around how physical the game is  in Scotland. He wouldn't be the first to have made that mistake.

You think defenders in Italy give you an easy ride? The pace of the game can be frenetic here because it's kick and rush but it's a myth that's it's majorly physical compared to elsewhere, and certainly not compared with Italy.

If people genuinely found it so hard to cope with the physicality of Scottish players, the national team might have qualified for a tournament at some point in recent history.

Bringing Kelly on gives the lad experience and gives other in the Dev squad a tangible target to aim for.

I agree with this. It's a reward for a youngster who has obviously been working hard and it should inspire the other young players.

Who gives a fuck about the clubs 5th best left back? Wallace will see his contract out for easy money, as is his right I suppose.

He had a good season in the Championship. That's it. Awful defender, horribly one footed and awkward on the ball, one paced, lacks agility and his leadership skills appear to be non-existent. Never raised his head, on the field or off it, to defend a teammate or the club. Head bowed all the time. Atrocious captain.

  11. That's a fantastic display. Well done to them.

Too many people in Europe (not the Dutch generally) forget that their own countries contribution to fighting the Nazis was captulation, followed by collaboration.

It's heartening that there are people who remember it was British and American (amongst others) boys who liberated Western Europe. Too many millennial/socialist/hand wringing fucks use the freedom those men fought for to denigrate the "West" and cheerlead for its enemies.

Be great to play a friendly against them next summer.
