Not having read through every post, my feelings are :- I have the greatest respect for Richard Gough, the way he conducted himself whilst being a Rangers player/captain is beyond reproach, But I feel, the way they, ( himself & dave king ), have gone about this is all wrong. Brown, Levein & Malpas were all young players at the time and all 4 would have made a massive difference to the team of the early 80's.
